Genaration Gap

We had a special visitor from Trevor and his grandparents. Trevor has been playing since he was six years old! He has learned from hearing only no classes to help him learn, he did it all on his own.

They all love to play the good ole tunes and the residents were all in awe  that such a young gentleman has been able to achieve such a wonderful talent.

We even had a chance for questions and answers. We all found out that the money he makes for doing these small performance's,he donates to Food for Lane County.
WOW!
He hope he returns when hes back to visit his grandparents.

Organ Concert

Don and his grandfather came to Garden Way so we could have a evening of organ music. Don is legally blind, has been since he was born. They have tried to do surgery with his vision but it was non successful. He has a wonderful talent of providing music to the world. He learned on a piano first and then accomplished the organ. It sometimes takes a little practice with a new organ or piano but he can learn it.
Not only does he play but can sing too! Keeps a tune pretty well also.  He plays a variety of old time tunes that we all enjoyed.
