Wedding at Garden Way Retirement

 

 

Chef Martin had made a beautiful ice sculpture with the initials J and L for Jeff and Lois. He made a brides cake (white) and a grooms cake (chocolate). There was always the chocolate covered strawberries, array of fruit and veggies.

Garden Way Retirement was at the

 Good Earth Home,Garden & Living Show.

Since our community is a very green friendly home. We are the only retirement community in the whole area that can be included in this event.It was a great honor to have people come and say we remember you from last year. We have been apart of the Home Show for two and they always invite us back.

Come and see us next year and get the famous Chocolate Truffles from our very own Executive Chef Martin.

Tropical Gingerbread House

 

 

 

 

This is the very first Garden Way Retirement's Gingerbread House. The best thing is we did a tropical gingerbread house. The middle hut is our tiki hut, we have a outhouse, tiny little house's with ginderbread men and lounge chairs with even bar stools for the tiki hut. Residents all had a really fun time.



It's that time for Caroling

 

We have had the Cub Scouts here they gave everyone a cute surprise. One of our Residents daughter is the troop leader for the Cub Scouts. Seeing her daughter here gave her such excitement. All the residents loved the cute children.

 

 

The Dublinars are a local High School Choir residents always appreciate seeing them. They are a very out going singing group. They dance and sing and at the end of it all they come and hug and talk with our residents. We enjoy them as much as they enjoy coming to our community.

 

Just a couple days ago we had a residents church group come and carol for us also. They did end up gathering quite a crowd around them.
