Wellness Program

Garden Way prides itself in the wellness program we are currently establishing. Wellness programs for seniors need to include daily activities that make life more enjoyable and healthier. They include developing a nutritious meal plan that you like the taste of to taking care of different parts of your body. You can more easily promote healthy aging by treating your body with the respect it deserves.

The National Institute on Aging recommends you get at least 20 minutes of moderately-brisk exercise on at least five days of the week. Doing this can help both your cardiovascular and musculoskeletal health. In order to assist our seniors in meeting those recommendations we have developed a daily regiment of exercise and wellness classes. Each day we have a different type of exercise in which our residents can participate in.

Monday and every other Friday at 9:30am - Chair Yoga with
Christiana Hansen

Tuesday at 9:30am and 10:30am - Strong Bones Strong Body Osteoporosis Class with Cindy O' Brien or Brenda Olivarez

Thursdays at 9:30am and 10am- Strong Bones and Strong Body Osteoporosis Class with Cindy O'Brien or Brenda Olivarez
