These beautiful art was done in our Watercolor class we have every other monday for two hours. This class has been in place for almost a year and this kind of work is coming out of the class all ready. Im very anxoius to see what is in store for the coming up displayed art.

Lane Historical Museum

 

On Friday our trip was to the Lane County Historical Museum.

It was actually pretty small but the residents that came along enjoyed it very much so the trip was a success!

 

 

Here we have one of the first covered wagon!

 

This was a set up for the Victorian Era. Gorgeous wish we could all go back in time.

The old model T. One of the first cars to hit the road it brought back many memories seeing this again!

The hearse, I could not believe that they actually had a hearse this one was very special looking and amazing to look at it.

Wear Red Fridays

 

We are joining everyone in wearing red on every Friday. It is called Red Friday. This has started to be a nationwide organization that have started this tradition in a sense. The red is to represent blood of the Americans that have falling and those who are still in battle. Blood is the one thing that gives us a common bond with our military and since all Americans bleed red  we will wear red on every Friday to show our support of the troops overseas in the war and show we support them and prayer for their safety. We may not agree with everything the war supports but we do support our troops all the way!

Minature Golf inside

On Friday the 28th we had our very own special miniature golf course. It was made up of five different holes on our second floor. We had a long shot, ramp run, book maze, lazy dog and a noodle maze. The residents that were able to participate all got $500 in funny money and a complimentary meal ticket that pays for four guest. All very happy and everyone won!

Noodle Hockey

We have created a new game called Noodle Hockey. It has been a good hit so far it is still fairly new but we are fixing any kinks we may think is in the game. This game  is where you would sit in a chair across from each other teams. Then everyone gets a exercises noodle to play with and then we have a beach ball that I put in the middle of the game and let the teams at it. One team will try to shoot the beach ball one way to make the winning game!!!

Miniature Golf and Pizza

It was a gorgeous here in Eugene Oregon, the sun was bright and the wind was just right to swing away..

It proves that anyone can do miniature golf!

This was a tricky hole we had to go up and hope we made the hole or  the ball comes back.

Nothings better than pizza by the river.
