Yoga Classes at Garden Way Retirement are a very in tune, relaxing, fun class. We have a wonderful yoga instructor named Christiana. Who makes it a habit of keeping everyone moving. Our classes are held on Monday every week.

Red Hat Society

Red Hat Society is a very neat older all women's club. They do all kind of sponsoring and fund-raising for different organizations throughout our area. Right now there main focus is raising money for M.D.A which is Muscular Dystrophy association. Queen Cynthia is also a memeber of the M.D.A. She really is a special resident in our hearts.

HAPPY EASTER

Its Easter again!!! We had our servers in cute bunny ears. Plus all staff joined in our event. Everyone dressed in their Sundays very best. We had pit ham, roast beef, southern style potatoes, wild rice, crescent rolls a vegetable medley and then we had a waffle station made to order with endless toppings to fix that sweet tooth you may have had in the beginning. Everyone was SO happy and loved the endless choices of food. Of  course the Bunny showed with fun filled eggs..

It's back Deal or No Deal

It's back Deal or No Deal. We had our first game on wednesday. Everyone gets a card and a brown paper bag with a secret surprise inside. We go around following specific instructions for the game. It was lots of fun. we had a good time!! We play again next wednesday. Pick that special good bag..

Watercolor Class 2

We had our second waterclass today. Everyone still loved it. today was the day to learn not being afraid of color. Look forward to seeing everyone at the next class April the 9

Slap Happy Drums

Today we had our performer, Slap Happy Drums. He performs a different kind of concert. Its a interactive type of concert. You help slap the drums, do the cow bell and shake the maracas. You get to learn how keep beat and just play along with the director. Its lots of fun and everyone enjoys making music. Make those drums HAPPY!!!

Happy St. Patricks Day

Happy St. Patricks Day to all of  you!!! Today at our community we had a wonderful greenful day of the season. Decorated our dining room in its green glory. Our kitchen staff had a awesome planned meal of corned beef and cabbage with roasted red potatoes. So delicous. Then later on in the evening we had the musical group Dublinirs from Sheldon High School. All the residents love when they perform. There so full of life.
