Oakridge Oregon

First stop in Oakland Oregon, Tolly's. It is a step back in time with the classic old food, wilderness on the walls plus they had different watercolor, paint and oil paintings all over their walls from different citizens of Oakland. It was so amazing how the place looked and we all cant wait to go back even if it is just for lunch!

First thing you see when you enter Tolly's is all the old coca cola signs and they even had a small candy shop right when you walked in with the oldie favorites. Residents were a gasp!

Smile everyone!! While we get the picture from the second balcony that had the Victorian Furniture too on it!

Second stop is the Museum of Oakland Oregon. It was a cute small museum but put so well together that it was amazing. The whole Museum had sections of the house you would of lived in and then small set ups of the stores that were around to. Like the Post Office, General store, Blacksmith and don't forget the good Doctor. They also had odds and ends of things that brought many memories to the residents.

This was the first set up that we see when you enter the door. Where all the good smelling food happens the Kitchen.

Another set up was the Parlour. I had a few residents with stories of their mothers or fathers playing the piano in their parlour when growing up. Or when they had big family get together.
