Museum of Natural and Cultural History

Betty and Marjorie showing their excitement for our tour of the Museum of Natural and Cultural History. This museum talks about our history of Oregon and how the culture started and grew to today. Very interesting tour we all enjoyed.

Hal and Mary with our tour guide Rebecca watching Cynthia trying to create the big earthquake. This was a fun experiment where you turn a handle to see what earthquakes can do on different surfaces carpet, rock, pavement and a soft padded area
Betty here is reading on how tribes made houses and create there fishing traps and how the prepared and took care of there village they lived in at this time.
As we finished our tour one of the last stops was pictures from Galaxy. All the pictures were so extraordinary they took our breaths away. This truly was a wonderful learning experience.
